Kanye West has explained how his controversial TMZ interview about slavery forced him to re-write large sections of his new album Ye.

Kanye West is preparing for a busy month after revealing that June will include more GOOD Music releases than just his YE album. Kanye had apparently paid $85,000 to license a photo of Whitney Houston's drug-littered bathroom counter to use as the cover for that album, drawing condemnation from Houston's estate and family.

While we're unlikely to ever hear the version the album that got scrapped, it's interesting to speculate about what it could have contained. The basketball player was caught being unfaithful to Kanye's sister-in-law Khloe Kardashian in videos which emerged days before she gave birth to their daughter True in April.

The series will be available in print and digital versions, though you most likely won't find it in the Netflix app. The tagline for the comic is "Magic meets the mob", according to Image Comics.

The artist had a listening party in Wyoming last night, with the general reaction to the album being a positive one, but with a character like Kanye, the album is bound to split opinion. "Also, we know now, it's all headlines. every bar can be used". But get this, even though a lot of folks say they will cancel him going forward, they were all bumping his new album YE this weekend when it was finally released. I like the word "imprisoned" because slavery goes too directly to the idea of blacks ... so prison is something that unites us as one race.

"Why would he post that on his album cover?" the former New Edition singer, 49, told Rolling Stone on Wednesday, May 30.

"Think about somebody that does exactly what I did at TMZ and they just do that at work, right?" But Tuesday morning, they come in and they lost their job and they can't go back and make that.
