Shizuka Matsuki, 47, of Plantation was walking her dogs on Friday in Davie, according to Officer Ronald Washington of the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission, when the attack occurred.

A missing woman is believed to have been killed after she was bitten by an alligator while walking two dogs at the Silver Lakes Rotary Nature Park in Davie, Florida. "One of her dogs got bit by the gator".

It is believed that a 12-foot-6-inch alligator has killed a Florida woman after investigators found one of her arms inside the reptile. The dog has since been taken in by animal control, WSVN said.

Trappers are watching an alligator estimated to be almost 12 feet long. The husband also asked Borrelli to break the news to their son, who is in his 20s and lives in NY.

The nature park is popular among dog walkers and has two large bodies of water.
