E3 2018: Ubisoft Releases A New Trailer For Beyond Good & Evil 2

Beyond Good & Evil 2 teases Jade as the villain

Not only is the original game's main character Pey'j returning for a second go, this time as a ship's chef, but so is Jade.

No gameplay was shown, but the game will have a demo at E3. "By partnering with HitRecord, the community can tap into HitRecord's production pipeline and resources to start creating, collaborating and contributing right away". But now that unlikely pipe dream will come to pass and Beyond Good and Evil 2 is on the road to release. Players will take on the role of a space pirate captain and travel the stars in a prequel to Beyond Good and Evil. People around the world will be able to produce music that could make it into the game along with visual assets and more. "Unexpected encounters will breathe life into your story as you meet colorful characters, battle vicious mercenaries, and more".

Ubisoft plans to keep eager players interested with their 'Space Monkey Program', providing regular updates and, rather boldly, giving fans the chance to upload content to be included in the game.

"[This] isn't just to post and promote something you've made on your own", said Gordon-Levitt. Beyond Good & Evil 2 is to follow an open-world playstyle, with this city being only one of many such settings, some of which were shown to us in last year's E3.

The Last of Us Part II Gameplay Trailer Unveiled
The main protagonist, Ellie, stealthily moves about, eliminating enemies until discovered, requiring her to flee. On top of that, enemies appear to be more coordinated now, and Naughty Dog's overhauled engine looks wonderful .

All in all, it sounds like Beyond Good and Evil 2 is shaping up to be quite the game.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 is the sequel to a 2003 game that wasn't a huge seller, but cultivated a cult following.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 is an action-adventure title in development at Ubiosft, however, no release date has been announced for the game yet.

In addition to this news, Ubisoft is also hosting a sort of contest to feature fan creations in the game.
