Entertainers who have deals with Fox are now denouncing Fox News

On Tuesday, Levitan, the co-creator of "Modern Family", which is produced by 2oth Century Fox, bolstered MacFarlane's comments with a tweet expressing his disgust at working for Fox.

Levitan added: "Fox Studio has been a wonderful home for most of my career - so many awesome people there who share the concerns about @Fox News but aren't in a position to speak out".

It started with a Seth MacFarlane tweet condemning 20th Century Fox and Fox News.

Both Disney and Comcast are battling right now to acquire some of 21st Century Fox's assets, which would include MacFarlane's various lowbrow tv shows including Family Guy, American Dad!, and The Cleveland Show, but not Fox News or the Fox broadcast network.

Apatow called on more of those who work with or for Fox to speak out.

Feig also denounced Fox News' coverage of Trump's immigration policy in a tweet.

On Tuesday, Paul Feig, who collaborated with Apatow on Freaks and Geeks in the "90s, threw his lot in with the others, making a stand against Fox News" role in furthering the current administration's agenda. "This is fringe s-t, and it's business like this that makes me embarrassed to work for this company".

"Not one new person who works for Fox or at Fox has spoken up strongly about their news channel supporting ripping families apart", Apatow later tweeted. "How can you remain silent when they promote these policies?"
