Halo Infinite CONFIRMED at Xbox E3 2018 Briefing

Sure enough, Microsoft has just announced Halo Infinite, referred to as a "New Halo Experience".

The full trailer shows a glimpse of the Master Chief himself, and there is some impressive landscape shots, hinting at an expansive environment.

The Halo games follow a super-soldier referred to as Master Chief, who went rogue in the last instalment to seek out Cortana, his former AI companion. Little else is known about Halo: Infinite at this time, but we will keep you updated as we learned more over the course of this week. You can check out the trailer above! The game is slated for a release on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. They did state that a whole new engine has been built for Halo Infinite to run on and the footage we saw was in-engine. We don't know how much he is back, but surely Microsoft has listened to the numerous complaints regarding his relative absence in Halo 5.
