Lottery retailers will be busy as record-breaking Lotto Max draws near

The $60 million Lotto Max jackpot remains up for grabs

The $60 million Lotto Max jackpot remains up for grabs

According to the OLG, an ENCORE ticket worth $100,000 was sold in London for Friday night's draw.

Someone else in Delta, meanwhile, got six out of seven numbers (including bonus) on their ticket, winning $96,523. Once the lottery hits $60 million, additional revenue is used to create $1-million prize draws (called Maxmillion draws).

The ticket is one of several winners from last night's draw (June 1), although no one won the jackpot.

The winning ticket was sold in Whitty's Mace store in Caherdavin in the north of the city, a Lotto spokesperson has confirmed.

"We had another victor a few years back for €2.2m so I definitely think we have some luck kicking around".

Chemo not needed in some early breast cancer patients
Brawley noted that the reduction in chemotherapy might reduce revenues for some oncologists, but he doesn't think they'll care. While chemo can be greatly helpful to some patients, it has a significant number of drawbacks and serious side effects.

The jackpot is always capped at $60 million, but the amount of $1 million dollar prices is unlimited.

Lotto Max smashes another prizing record!

Lotto Max started in September 2009, replacing Lotto Super 7.

Earlier this week, a Lotto 6/49 ticket bought in Coquitlam won $30 million - the largest jackpot prize in B.C. history.

The June 8 jackpot will remain $60 million, but there will be two more Maxmillion prizes to win.
