Oppo Find X Has Been Launched: Here Are 8 Revolutionary Features!

Oppo Find X the next to kill Apple’s notch

Just take a look at the photos courtesy of The Verge and you'll see just what we mean. The launch event worked as a seal of confirmation for all the leaked specs that were ultimately proven right. However, its motorized design means that the Find X misses out on something that we've all taken for granted in today's phones: waterproofing. The stock camera app features Apple-like portrait mode and portrait lighting options.

Oppo has gone with a mechanical pop-up camera behind the Find X display, leaving the screen free of any cutouts. Oppo has integrated a tiny motorized mechanism into the top panel of the Find X to incorporate a notch less all screen design. The rear-facing camera is also completely hidden when the handset is switched off or the camera application is closed. Even if you're careful with how you handle it, there's a good chance that the Find X's sliding camera array could be a place where dust and grit want to congregate in your pocket. The entire working of this element was shown at the launch event, and it looked smooth. Much like Samsung's AR Emoji and Apple's Animoji, Oppo is introducing 3D Omoji. It allows users to securely sign-in under any light conditions.

Oppo Find X smartphone has a nice shiny metal back with curved edges and no camera sensors up front or at the back.

Oppo boasts that the screen-to-body ratio is 93.8 per cent, thanks to its lack of iPhone X-style notch up front. The smartphone features a 6.4-inch OLED display with a full HD resolution (1,080p), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor under the hood, and 8 GB of RAM.

Lewandowski on girl with Down syndrome being separated from family: 'Whuh, whuh'
NBC host Megyn Kelly also weighed in with a tweet, adding, "There is no low to which this coward Corey Lewandowski won't sink". Trump's new policy is to separate those children from their family at the border as the adults are criminally prosecuted.

Oppo Find X has a motorised slider which opens and closes automatically to scan your face to unlock the phone.

Oppo is a massive smartphone maker in Europe, but its presence in Europe and North America has been extremely limited. The battery is a modest 3,730 mAh unit but it comes with VOOC fast charging support. The smartphone features a pop-up camera, which it calls stealth 3D camera. There is also support for 3D emojis similar to iPhone X ones.

The cameras are nothing to be sneezed at either with a 25MP sensor in the front and dual camera setup incorporating a 16MP and 20MP sensors on the rear. What do you think of the Oppo Find X? However, the glass body also makes the device fingerprint and smudge magnet.

While the device comes with Android 8.1 Oreo software through ColorOS 5.1, which is Android's most secure version of software to date, the Find X leaves out any inkling of fingerprint security and chooses instead to use the front camera and its O-Face technology for facial recognition to unlock in a hands-free way. The base variant will cost you Euro 999 (roughly Rs. 79,000) and will be made available in August.
