CM HD Kumaraswamy politely declines PM Modi's Fitness Challenge; says more worried about fitness of Karnataka

Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy on Wednesday responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's fitness challenge saying that yoga and treadmill were a part of his daily workout but he was more concerned about the "development fitness" of his Karnataka.

Modi tweeted, "Here are moments from my morning exercises".

On Twitter, Modi said he also walks "on a track inspired by the Panchtatvas or 5 elements of nature - Prithvi, Jal, Agni, Vayu, Aakash". As Modi rightly described in his tweet, it was "extremely refreshing and rejuvenating" to see the head of the country doing some breathing exercises amid greenery and chirping birds in an exquisitely shot video. "I also practicebreathing exercises", he wrote.

The union minister shared a video on twitter performing push-ups in his office while talking about how inspired he is by PM Modi and challenged Virat Kohli, Hrithik Roshan and Saina Nehwal to share their fitness secrets.

This fitness challenge on Twitter has gained vast popularity ever since Union Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore threw the first challenge.

Aussies to adopt mark of respect for England ODI series
England one-day captain Morgan has agreed to the request, but only for the opening game of the five-match series. "Words are words, come Wednesday, it's time for us to act on those words and show it by actions".

It seems, however, the Karnataka CM is not every impressed with the idea, as he politely refused to take up the challenge thrown to him by the PM.

I am honoured& thankU very much for d concern about my health. It was the second tweet of the day on fitness where he dared Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy to take up the #FitnessChallenge that attracted maximum eyeballs. Accepting the challenge, PM Modi had then tweeted: "Challenge accepted, Virat!"

"On a related note, Batra participated in this year's Commonwealth Games (CWG) in Australia's Gold Coast, where she led the Indian women's table tennis team to win a gold medal for the first time in any CWG event".

"The entire fraternity of courageous IPS officers, especially those above 40", he wrote in the micro blogging site. I thank him for participating in the #HumFitTohIndiaFit #FitnessChallenge and reiterating the importance of a healthy mind in a healthy body!
