Sunday's Polo match was the first of a series of charitable matches that Prince William and Prince Harry will take part in over the summer. The cute moment was picked up on by her mother Kate, who looked over her shoulder and smiled knowingly at Prince William.

Prince George - wearing a navy shirt, beige shorts and navy sneakers - played around with a polo mallet in the grass.

One person wrote: 'This was the only disappointing thing about today's polo match photos. The brother and sister duo were pictured playing with toys, including a slinky and walking a beam of wood practicing their balancing skills.

Prince George was sent tumbling down a hill over the weekend as his cousin Savannah Philips gave him a push. My American side here, biased maybe because of everyday #gunviolence in United States of America, but my British side agrees. No child in this day and age should look at any gun as a fun toy.

On a visit to Finland last November, William met Father Christmas in Helsinki and was on a mission to present Santa Claus with a Christmas list from George, which featured one request - a toy police vehicle.

Even an opinion piece in The Huffington Post assured parents in the aftermath that allowing (specifically) young boys to play with guns would not make them grow up to be psychopaths.
