Swara Bhasker says her character Sakshi is a fun character

Something similar happened when Veere Di Wedding actor Swara Bhaskar called Pakistan a "failing state" in an interview with Indian film critic Rajeev Masand.

As she comes up in her career, we hope Swara demonstrates more responsibility in her public statements.

Hitting back at trolls, Swara wrote: "Looks like a certain IT cell sponsored the tickets - or definitely the tweets".

Urwah's reaction came after Swara, angry over Pakistan's decision to ban her film, told a channel that the neighbouring country was a 'failing state' and a 'non-secular' country, which was run by 'Sharia Law'. However, her recent comments made against Pakistan has managed to raise quite a few eyebrows. I don't know why people think I'm a spokesperson for the Pakistani government. Bhasker further said that she didn't expect anything else from the country. I m not surprised at all.

Many were quick to roll their eyes at Apple's new Animoji and Memoji-the company's apparent take on the popular Bitmoji . The paradox emerged Monday as Apple executives previewed new versions of free software due out this fall.

In order to douse the ire, the actor tweeted today: "There should be a distinction between States/ govts of a country & the people of that country". In an interview in 2016, Bhasker commented on the rising tension between India and Pakistan post 2016's Uri attack.

Following a severe backlash, Bhaskar had no option for face saving other than mentioning in her tweet that some of her closest friends are Pakistani and Lahore remains one of her soul cities.
