E3 2018 marked Square Enix's return to holding a press conference at the event, as its last showcase was at E3 2015. However, when it was all said and done, Square Enix had very little to offer.

The video talks us through the new additions to Just Cause 4, the most prominent of these being the extreme weather system. Not because it looks better, but because it comes completely out of left field, and represents something we don't often see from the industry's biggest publishers. The title is Babylon's Fall, and you can see a brief teaser below.

Developer Platinum Games, which also made Nier: Automata, gave a glimpse of its upcoming project with a timeline-centric trailer.

A number of Square Enix titles have already been revealed at some of the other showcases including Kingdom Hearts III and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

The game will launch for both PS4 and PC via Steam in North America and Europe on September 4.
