Transference Teases Gameplay With Haunting Trailer at E3 2018

If you haven't gone in for the VR lifestyle yet, worry not - a non-VR version will also be available on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Last year, IGN's preview of Transference noted that the game was unsettling yet intriguing.

The E3 2018 trailer for Transference shows that the game has quite a bit of full motion video, where you get to see a man clearly struggling with his mental state. This year, there's an even creepier trailer along with a promise that the game is coming very soon. Players will be enveloped in this mind-bending digital world and shift between the perspectives of Raymond, his wife Katherine, and their son Benjamin to recover the fragmented family memories and attempt to piece together their mystery.

"Plunge into the experiment of a troubled scientist, a corrupted digital simulation of his family formed using their collective brain data", says SpectreVision, the team that's working with Ubisoft to bring this game to live.

Ubisoft has just revealed a new game, called Transference. It's set to released this autumn both in VR and on non-VR platforms. As producers of films like A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night and Mandy, SpectreVision partners Elijah Wood, Daniel Noah, Josh C. Waller & Lisa Whalen tell character-driven stories that challenge conventions as they tackle emotional and human experiences.

It's upon you to uncover the secret of the family and make their lives better by exploring maze-like puzzles.

What do you think of Transference so far?
