If you haven't heard about Roseanne Barr's racist tweets and ABC cancelling her show despite it being their highest-rated comedy of the year, you've got some serious catching up to do.

The infamous tweet Roseanne wrote called a black former Obama aide was the "muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby", so that first point isn't in contention.

John Goodman is holding back from saying too much about the cancelation of Roseanne, following a racist tweet from Roseanne Barr. Hours later, however, Barr was back on social media, lashing out at colleagues sharing their views on her racially charged comment.

President Donald Trump has latched onto the show's huge viewership as evidence that his supporters, which include Barr, want shows that speak to their concerns. ABC cancelled her show, which is the most watched show on USA television.

The ill-advised attack on one of former USA leader Barack Obama's top aides, Valerie Jarrett, cost Barr her revived sitcom, Roseanne, which was immediately cancelled by TV bosses at ABC.

In the flurry of tweets Thursday, she apologized to her "Roseanne" co-star, Jayden Rey. Barr also re-tweeted several people defending her.

Jarrett revealed that Bob Iger, the head of ABC parent company Disney, telephoned her personally to tell her the network was cancelling the show. A leader needs to be criticised and scrutinized in order to be kept in check.

Louis Attorney Says Her Office Has Resolved Criminal Charges Against Greitens
Eric Greitens has finally put an end to the sham that was his 17-month term in office. "The state's economic growth lags the U.S. This is not the position I imagined we would be in almost 16 months later. "Let us allow history and God to bring justice".

The comment was later deleted and Barr released an apology on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough to prevent ABC from cancelling the "Roseanne" show and prompting Barr's talent agency, ICM Partners, from dropping her as well.

Roseanne Barr has chose to stay on Twitter after all. Jarrett gets an apology because she was the victim of a racially charged insult.

"I wasn't gonna get an Emmy anyway", Goodman responded while getting into the driver's seat of his vehicle. "I'm not a censor and they have the right to do what they wish".

"Losing my show is 0 compared 2 being labelled a racist over one tweet - that I regret even more" she said.

In another tweet Barr apologised to actor Jayden Rey, who played Mary Connor, the daughter of DJ and his African American wife Geena on the show.

Barr was seen in her native Utah walking and talking on the phone shortly after she said on Twitter that she had forgiven her former castmates Sara Gilbert and Michael Fishman.
