United States preacher asks followers to help him buy $78m private jet

Jesse Duplantis a Louisiana-based televangelist is asking his followers to help fund a $54 million jet

Jesse Duplantis a Louisiana-based televangelist is asking his followers to help fund a $54 million jet

The Falcon 7X, which would be the fourth plane owned by Jesse Duplantis Ministries, has a range of nearly 6,000 miles and costs about $54 million new, according to SherpaReport (although used ones are listed online for as little as $20 million).

Earlier in his broadcast the evangelist reflected on his history of private jet ownership, revealing he purchased his first plane in 1994.

The Falcon 7X would be the TV preacher's fourth private plane since founding the Jesse Duplantis Ministry in 1978. Two of them are now being used by other pastors, while the third, his current Falcon 50, is no longer up to par, he claims. The video on March 21 carefully mixed the Gospel with a few insights into the economics of global aviation.

In 2015, Duplantis and Copeland, defended their use of private jets, arguing that "commercial planes were full of "a bunch of demons" that will bog down their busy schedules with prayer requests", the Times-Picayune reports. "Yes, but I can't go it one stop". I don't want to learn how to fly it, I'm not interested in that. "And that's what's been a blessing of the Lord".

HuffPost has reached out to Jesse Duplantis Ministries for comment.

"Glory to God! It's Ours!" the Kenneth Copeland Ministry website posted. "I'm interested in preaching the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ".

I felt like superhero - Serena Williams
Williams, 36, had to fight for this one, particularly in the first set in which she lost the first three points of the tiebreaker. Williams, who returned to tennis in March, was asked about her chances at Roland Garros - a tournament she last won in 2015.

God instructed Duplantis to "preach the Gospel to every creature", he explained. But the trouble is, he's "just been burning them up for the Lord Jesus Christ".

The campaign was widely ridiculed online, and Dollar never made it to the waiting list, which consisted mostly of billionaires.

"You can not make this insanity up", Akin wrote on Twitter.

"Glory to God! It's Ours!" the website said.

A Louisiana televangelist is asking for followers for donations to buy a Falcon X luxury business jet, like this one parked in a hanger, on April 27, 2007. "We've got to have this". "We never ask you to give something that (we) don't give ourselves".

"That's why we are on that airplane". "Now, Oral Roberts [an American Christian televangelist who died in 2009] used to fly airlines". People coming up to him.
