Villa to hold firm on £30million Jack Grealish valuation despite financial woes

Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce is now in limbo as the club begin to come to terms with the financial crisis they have fallen into, according to The Telegraph.

The Championship club will have to cash in on Grealish this summer after failure to win promotion to the Premier League left them in a financial mess.

"Owner and Chairman Dr Tony Xia would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank supporters during this hard and unsettling time and reassure them plans are now being put in place to move the club forward".

The club suspended chief executive Keith Wyness as news emerged of a missed tax payment to HMRC that has seen Villa threatened with a winding-up order.

Owner Xia has confirmed the club faces "severe FFP (Financial Fair Play) challenges" and that Villa needs to be a sustainable club.

Prince's Estate Announces Release of Piano & A Microphone 1983
This morning, his estate and Warner Bros. announced plans to release a recording from 1983 called "Piano & A Microphone: 1983". The album was recorded at Prince's Kiowa Trail home studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota, and was engineered by Don Batts.

Aston Villa will refuse to sell £30million-rated midfielder Jack Grealish on the cheap despite their mounting financial problems.

Grealish, one of Villa's main assets and a fan favourite, is believed to have been earmarked for a sale to help the club raise money. James Chester has also been linked with a move.

Villa have paid HMRC £500,000 and will pay another £1.2m by the end of the week, it was reported on Wednesday.

The outstanding amount is then likely to be sent swiftly, ensuring administration is not an immediate threat.

Owner Dr. Tony Xia has still not been in contact with the former Manchester United defender about his future, even though it is more than two weeks since the club lost to Fulham at Wembley Stadium.
