The girl, who authorities didn't identify, was critically injured when she was flung from the bouncy castle in Gorleston, a seaside town on the coast of Norfolk in east England., the Guardian reported.

Officers were called to Lower Esplanade, Gorleston, at around 11.15am on Sunday.

On Sunday, eyewitnesses and lifeboat crews tried to save the girl in Gorleston-on-Sea, who sustained multiple injuries, but she later died in hospital.

Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

The area of beach where the incident happened has now been cordoned off as police launched a joint investigation with health and safety officials.

"Several of our teams were dispatched, with the first on scene in four minutes", it said in a statement. Sadly, despite all of the efforts and interventions, she was pronounced deceased.

Brandon Lewis, Conservative MP for Great Yarmouth, tweeted: "Absolutely tragic, thoughts are with the family and friends, just so sad".

"A parent myself, I can't imagine the grief being experienced by the family during this hard time".

President Trump left his meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un claiming victory in his quest to denuclearize the country. Trump could dangle a second meeting in NY as an incentive for North Korea to follow that timeline, officials told Axios.

Norfolk Police have cordoned off a section of the beach while they investigate the incident.

Mr Halfon is the MP for Harrow, in Essex, where seven-year-old Summer Grant, from Hellesdon, was killed when a bouncy castle blew free from its moorings in 2016.

The death is the latest in which a fun day out involving a giant inflatable has turned to tragedy.

"Clearly there needs to be a serious review into regulations around bouncy castles".

The inflatable had not been properly secured to the ground at an Easter fair, a trial at Chelmsford Crown Court heard.

Two fairground workers were charged this year with her manslaughter.

After the horror unfolded former Tory education minister Robert Halfon asked whether a temporary ban on inflatables and bouncy castles should be enforced while the cause of the accident is known.
