Is this DJI’s next Mavic drone? Brian Heater @ 1 day

Here to offer new perspectives of storytelling is the surge of drones - a flying device that offers soaring viewpoints and hard-to-reach places that have proven useful to create mindblowing cinematics. If this is really the DJI Mavic 2, drone enthusiasts should definitely get excited about it.

So long as the leak is accurate to begin with, the remaining questions mainly revolve around the launch date and price. The company unsurprisingly declined our request for comment, however.

Until this year, consumers had a choice between the Mavic Pro and Spark. The first one, which may be the 1-inch sensor, is mounted on the drone in gray.

DroneDJ has published an image a (relatively) large folding drone bearing the name "Mavic 2".

The image comes via DroneDJ, along with several notes on the likely specifications that the device may sport, according to what can be seen in the picture below. It would also give Mavic a competitor to GoPro's Karma drone, which sports a similar feature. On the left side of the picture, you can see the second gimbal with a smaller camera/sensor size and screen.

She warns him that he could be arrested "for not being compliant". "You don't come here harassing people", the officer continues. On Tuesday, park spokeswoman Stacina Stagner said investigators will interview the officer this week about the incident.

The photos that leaked of the DJI Mavic Pro 2 do not show the rear legs.

We're now waiting for details about DJI's next press event, which may or may not take the wraps off the follow-up to the Mavic Pro. But maybe not right away - because DJI confirms that though it had a July 18 event planned (perhaps for a product launch?) the event has now been pushed back.

The arms of this drone are also rounded rather than featuring sharp and defined edges as per the original model.

There is still no new date for the rescheduled DJI event, so it may still be awhile before the company is ready to showcase its latest Mavic drone. But it seems to suggest that the front legs can fold sideways. Are you planning to buy one once it reaches retailers?
