U.S. President Donald Trump said he intends to run for re-election in 2020 because "everybody wants me to" and there are no Democratic candidates who could defeat him, the Mail on Sunday newspaper reported.

The president largely managed to avoid mass protests planned for his visit, and has shrugged off the organised demonstrations, which on Friday included a giant baby-shaped balloon bearing Trump's features.

Trump gushed about how excited he was to meet the queen in an interview with The Sun beforehand. Queen was also spotted looking at the watch in Trump's absence.

"The Queen is terrific. That is a lovely woman".

When asked if he had discussed Brexit with the monarch, Trump said: "I did. She's a very special person".

"The Queen doesn't expect people to bow to her, though many choose to anyway", CNN royal correspondent Max Foster said. "And she's got a lot of years left".

"The president should be walking over side by side with the Queen and not in front".

Will Donald Trump meet Boris Johnson? "Not sure", says U.S. ambassador
ERG is not expecting any further resignations, nor were we expecting any in the first place", said Mr Jenkin. In theory, it can result in May's resignation as party leader and the country's prime minister.

"I'll see something where somebody says something wrong, or says something right, and rather than sitting around doing nothing, I'll be able to put out something", he told Morgan. "I like the immediacy, I like the power of it because it gets the point across". However, at the press conference, he dismissed that interview as "fake news", despite the fact his words were recorded and the audio was released.

"You add it all up and it's like over 150 million people - that's a tremendous amount of people between Facebook and Instagram and Twitter - three different platforms, it's tremendous", he continued. Well, as casual as you can get when you're coming face-to-face with the Queen of England.

As tweeted by Morgan, Air Force One sat on the tarmac for 30 minutes while the British TV star chatted with Trump.

Pro-Trump rallies on Saturday don't appear to have been anymore successful.

Mr Trump's first visit to Britain as US President was not the full state visit he was originally promised, but he was heralded by military bands on his arrival at Windsor, before he and Mrs Trump went into the castle for tea with the queen.

"Asked about mass protests against him in London on Friday, the day of the interview, Trump insisted: "'Some of them are protesting in my favour, you know that?
