WDIV-TV reports that flames engulfed the boat Friday at Riverside Marina northeast of downtown Detroit and that fire crews were dousing the vessel with water.

A fire is burning on the old Boblo Boat on the Detroit River.

The cause of the blaze was not immediately known.

According to WDIV Local 4, the boat was moved to Riverside Marina previous year.

According to a website, the STE. Claire was moved to the marina in 2016 after it was purchased by a private collector.
