BRAZIL star Neymar's over-the-top diving theatrics haven't gone unnoticed by soccer fans - and now even advertisers are sinking the boots in.

He has been accused of taking his reaction to being targeted too far, but he is also one of the most fouled players at the tournament and Ronaldo believes match officials are letting too much go.

Brazilian soccer star Neymar was the subject of scorn during his team's 2-0 win over Mexico in a Round-of-16 match at the World Cup in Russian Federation.

While one can not deny he's one of the very best players in world football, and someone who boasts supreme technical ability, it's no wonder he's so universally disliked with the way he conducts himself.

According to Swiss broadcaster RTS, Neymar's overacting on the ground has resulted in loss of nearly 14 minutes of play time. Though not all the tackles were awful, the PSG star made a meal of quite a few of them following which social media was filled with memes of him rolling down mountains, hills and all sorts of landscapes.
