Sony has announced that it has lifted the lid on sign-ups for the upcoming PlayStation 4 update 6.00 beta test.

While Sony has opened up the sign-ups but, it didn't reveal what the PS4 system software Update 6.0 will be bringing to the console.

Currently, you can only sign up with a Japanese or North American PSN account through the respective links. You also have until July 27 to sign up so it's best to do so sooner rather than later. We still don't have an exact release date for when the full update will go live, but at least we know Sony has the ball rolling.
