The East now runs through Boston - with the Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks (two teams the C's eliminated without Irving last postseason) and Toronto Raptors - and has set Irving and the Celtics up to legitimately contend for multiple titles. Butler, who spent his first five seasons with the Bulls before a 2017 draft-day trade, and Irving, who completed his first season with the Celtics after a trade from the Cavaliers, were said to be "still trying to figure out a way to play together". Irving won't sign an extension with Boston.

Year One of Jimmy Butler's tenure in Minnesota was an unquestioned disappointment.

A source says Butler has no interested in signing an extension this summer with the Wolves and is fed up with the nonchalant attitude of younger teammates, especially Karl-Anthony Towns.

Stars talk about teaming up far more often than they actual team up. Minnesota has reportedly offered Butler a maximum contract extension worth $110 million over four years, but Crowley cited a league source in claiming that the 28-year-old swingman has "no intentions" of passing up an opportunity to become an unrestricted free agent in 2019.

Purely having some fun here, I put together some potential deals involving the Bulls and Wolves now that it appears the brief stint in Minnesota could be coming to an end for Butler. That could happen through a trade or, eventually, through free agency.

Of course, Towns (22) and Wiggins (23) are young and still developing.

I don't know how to stop Neymar, admits Belgium star
We know we have quality and collectiveness to beat them, but we also know that it will not be easy". In the second match of the day, Belgium beat Japan 3-2.

And teammates aren't the only factor in where players sign.

Kyrie Irving, left, and Jimmy Butler have played with each other on Team USA.

Don't even get started on Minnesota trading Towns for Irving.

If he does, where might Butler and Irving attempt to team up?

But maybe, just maybe, there's a way for Butler and Irving to unite with the Timberwolves or another team.
