According to The Richest, Cher's net worth is approximately $305 million.

Cher went on to recommend the film, saying it is a fun film at a time when we all need some fun.

Speaking with TODAY about the movie (via Rolling Stone), Cher revealed that she enjoyed singing the classic disco pop music so much that she chose to put he own touch on more of the material.

"Mamma Mia!" the musical originated more than 20 years ago and has gone on to have productions around the world with generations of fans still singing and dancing to ABBA songs some 40 years after their release.

And it didn't even bother the 72-year-old singer that she was playing Streep's mother despite being only three years older than the actress, 69.

"Amanda (Seyfried) and Julie and I were doing the cake-eating sequence and everybody started gathering around and we started thinking, 'What?" I know too much about the Oscars and Oprah.

"That doesn't make any difference", said Cher in another interview with People.

"The first one was a good film, we were all happy about that", he said, adding that the studio had long pushed for another film to be made.
