Real Madrid linked to $116M offer from Juventus for Cristiano Ronaldo

Reports linking Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo with a move to Juventus have been laughed off by the Italian club's former managing director.

Portuguese newspaper A Bola also reported talks over a Ronaldo to Juventus transfer are under way, according to ESPN.

A deal worth €30m-a-year for four seasons was tabled by Agnelli to Ronaldo - a clear €5m-a-year more than what Real have offered.

Pederol is thought to have close ties to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, and their personal links lead some to believe the Ronaldo to Juventus rumor might become reality.

Despite recent rumours to the contrary, Ronaldo's release clause remains locked in at €1,000m - but Perez is willing to listen to realistic offers for the five-time Ballon d'Or victor, who turned 33 earlier this year.

To the surprise of no one, LaVar isn't anxious . "The Warriors can sign Boogie, Prince, Michael Jordan, anybody they want". I hope he get four in a row. "But if not, I guarantee two when all my boys is on the Lakers with him".

Signing for Real Madrid from Manchester United in 2009, for a then-world record fee of £80m, Ronaldo has enjoyed a fantastic spell in Spain so far.

Cristiano Ronaldo set the rumour mills going last May when the 33-year-old cast doubt over his future at the Bernabeu following his team's victory over Liverpool in the Champions League final.

According to Marca, Juventus are prepared to offer Real Madrid £106m for Ronaldo, while the Italian champions have already put together a wage package in the region of £500,000 a week.

Ronaldo said in December that he wanted a raise after helping Real win the Club World Cup.
