Mahrez this week left the Foxes for Premier League champions Manchester City in the hope of taking his career to the next step.

Speaking at his first news conference as a Man City player, Mahrez said: "I have always believed that "H" (Harry Maguire) is a very good player, he has shown that since the day he came to Leicester and the season he had previous year". That's why I made the decision to come here because I want to be part of that.

Speaking at his formal unveiling at the City Football Academy, Mahrez said: "It's a club who wants to win this type of trophy".

The Premier League outfit have been linked with a number of replacements in the form of City's Patrick Roberts and Lyon's Bertrand Traore, however Tuttosport have claimed they are now looking at Falque as a solution to their problems.

"They have everything they need to succeed in the Champions League and that's where I want to play. It's a goal. Now we will have to work and see what can happen".
