LAS VEGAS - Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar returned to the company on Saturday and will face UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier, who defeated Stipe Miocic in the main event of UFC 226. Cormier now holds the UFC's light heavyweight and heavyweight titles and is now only the second person to ever hold two titles simultaneously in the UFC. That result was later changed to a "no contest" after it was revealed Lesnar failed multiple drug tests.

Daniel Cormier wants to be considered one of the greatest fighters of all time.

"I believe he'll get him down once or twice along the way but I don't believe he'll be able to control him on the floor".

Cormier called out Lesnar to join I'm in the cage following the victory, which Lesnar obliged, before shoving the new heavyweight champion across the Octagon and all hell broke loose.

"I'm coming for you mother fucker, said the WWE Champion". Lesnar spoke and was nodding with Dana White.

Brock Lesnar is officially back in the UFC and he's getting a heavyweight title shot. Paul Heyman has also commented... Meanwhile, there's no word yet as to when Lesnar will return to the ring for WWE. If that is the case, then he would be eligible to fight at the UFC show in late December and not in November at MSG. Featherweight champion Max Holloway was scheduled to defend his title against Brian Ortega, but Holloway dropped out Wednesday night with symptoms of an apparent concussion. Ngannou, who landed a paltry 11 strikes over three rounds, was thought to be the UFC's next heavyweight force before Miocic dominated him in January. Both fighters were covered in Felder's blood by the final bell.

For now though, Cormier has firmly inserted himself into the "Greatest Of All-Time" conversation along with the likes of St. Pierrer and UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson.

Earlier, unbeaten Brazilian middleweight Paulo Costa stopped Uriah Hall in the second round of a jaw-dropping slugfest between two of the sport's hardest punchers. "The last time I fought someone I was bigger than was Jeff Monson, that was in (2011) and I felt like Muhammad Ali out there (because) I had the reach advantage, the only time I've had the reach advantage".
