Trump May hold talks amid firestorm over Brexit

Trump said Queen Elizabeth, 92, was a "fantastic woman", adding: "up close, you see she's so handsome. and she's got a lotta years left".

May likewise glossed over the comments in The Sun.

Trump said the interview published by the Sun omitted his praise of May, and that his staff had taped the interview: "It's called fake news and we solve a lot of problems with the good old recording instrument".

On Friday evening, Trump flew to Scotland where he owns a golf course, ending the formal part of his trip to Britain, but he will not leave Britain for his scheduled meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin until Sunday.

"Our message to our government and our prime minister is: "We don't want a special relationship with bigots", Len McCluskey, the head of the country's biggest trade union, told Reuters.

DONALD Trump today heaped praise on Theresa May but urged her to make sure her Brexit deal lets Britain strike a trade agreement with the USA - saying, "That's all that matters".

Trump threw his first visit to Britain as president into disarray with an interview in The Sun newspaper in which he said May had ignored his suggestions for negotiating Britain's departure from the European Union and likely "killed" a trans-Atlantic trade deal. "I am assuming that his mum told him that when you go to someone's house you do not insult the host".

Nadal-Djokovic match Wimbledon suspended, sparking boos from fans
Anderson still returned Isner's next lob, then switched the racket from his left hand to his right before finishing off the point. By the close of play on Friday night, where Djokovic led by two sets to one, they had both won 107 points apiece.

In the Sun interview, Trump renewed his attack on London's Mayor Sadiq Khan.

The President said the newspaper did not include the "tremendous things" he said about Ms May in the interview. I was very saddened to see he was leaving government and I hope he goes back in at some point.

"I think she's a terrific woman".

"It's very sad on a personal basis because I think he's something that's lacking in worldwide politics, a man of true character, fascinating, bright, intelligent and we had a good relationship".

"They didn't put it in the headline, I wish they put that in the headline, that's one of those things".

Ministers agreed at the Prime Minister's official country residence to commitment to a "single standards model" for goods preventing Britain from adopting any competing national standards, a legal agreement to "ongoing harmonisation with the EU, including agrifoods", a "common rulebook" with the EU for all goods and a pledge that British courts will follow European Court of Justice rulings "where relevant".

During the press conference, Mr Trump - who regularly accuses the United States media of "fake news" over its coverage of him - also clashed with a reporter from the American NBC network, describing it as "possibly worse than CNN".
