Three more persons have been reported injured in the auto accident.

Television actor Siddharth Shukla has been released on bail after he was arrested for hitting three vehicles and ramming his auto onto a divider in Mumbai. His auto, BMW X5, hit as many as five cars before hitting a divider, as reported by the daily. Further, the police disclosed that the victims have been rushed to a nearby hospital in Goregaon.

The Andheri Lokhandwala Oshiwara Citizens' Association (ALOCA) initially tweeted about the incident. Speaking exclusively from the spot, the association's founder Dhaval Shah told us, "It was quite a major accident". According to police, Shukla was behind the wheel in his BMW, when he crashed into three cars, drove over a divider and ultimately crashed into an electric pole around 6pm. "He could have lost control of the wheel". Since the actor was driving a luxury auto, he wasn't affected much.

Oshiwara Police informed Indian Express, "Our team is now at the spot investigating the matter". But the people in the other cars were injured. We will be only able to give out an official statement once they are back,"an officer at the Oshiwara police station confirmed the incident, while talking to Indian Express". He was also seen in Karan Johar's Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya.

As per eye witnesses, Sidharth Shukla was driving the BMW X5.
