According to the WWE, they feel like Hogan has changed his ways, and after three years of being suspended, the wrestler will be reinstated into the Hall of Fame.

WWE announced Sunday that Hulk Hogan has been reinstated into its Hall of Fame. He even referenced the scandal while being inducted into the Boys & Girls Club Hall of Fame earlier this year.

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, was sacked by WWE on July 24, 2015, when new portions of the sex tape, which was part of his multi-million dollar lawsuit against Gawker over its publication, revealed him using the N-word in discussing his daughter Brooke's sex life. It is unknown at this time if Hogan will be appearing on the show.

WWE fans however also poured praise on Hogan saying he had earned his second chance. Hogan got a big reaction from the talent and ended up shaking their hands and hugging them before getting emotional.

Police officer, bystander die from gunshot wounds
Lopes sustained injuries that were not life-threatening and was transported to a local hospital, according to reports . The incident happened Sunday when officer Michael Chesna was responding to a call of an erratic driver near Boston.

In an update on Hogan being back, Bryan Alvarez of F4Wonline.com noted on Twitter that Hogan's meeting with the roster was filmed for an upcoming WWE Network special. "Only Love 4 the WWE Universe, brother HH".

He wrote: "Just met with the WWE Superstars and on all levels the volume of love and support was overwhelming".

A graduate of Robinson High School, Hogan, now 64, rose to fame in the 1980s as the ultimate good guy and champion of what was then called the World Wrestling Federation. "You are always going to have some detractors". The comments were several years old, but WWE and Hogan faced harsh criticism following the release of the comments, which only came to light due to the ongiong lawuisit.

In a statement to Us Weekly, Terry explained there was "no excuse" for that kind of language, and he was incredibly sorry.
