Xiaomi has now officially confirmed the launch of the Mi A2 smartphone and we can expect it to debut in India soon.

The post on Twitter carries an image with the caption "The Next Gen is Coming" and showing number "2".

Xiaomi teased the smartphone via tweet that reads,"Are you a big fan of #MiA1?". MySmartPrice has also come to know that the phone will debut in five colour options - Pink, Blue, Black, Red, and Gold. Although this teaser did not reveal any additional information about the impending launch, it did boast about the superiority of the Mi A2 over its predecessor. To recall, Xiaomi launched the Mi A2 in India first, but this time around the company has shifted to another destination for the launch event. The Mi A1 was launched in India at Rs 14,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB variant. In the camera department, it is rumoured to have a vertically stacked dual rear camera setup with a 12MP primary sensor and a 20MP selfie camera.

As per the specs leaked, Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite features a 5.84-inch Full HD+ (2280 x 1080) screen. The handset could be backed by a 3010mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. Rs 29,490. On the other hand, the Mi A2 Lite is said to be priced at PLN 1049 which is approx.

The beefy 4,000mAh should last forever with the power efficient (if not overly fast) Snapdragon 625. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB of internal storage. It will also have expandable storage. Design wise, it will still come with a metal unibody design and dual cameras at the back. Up front, a 20-megapixel camera is expected for taking selfies. For the battery, it will have a 4000 mAh battery which is more than the Mi A2's 3,000 mAh battery.
