Interestingly, it seems Apple has made the new iPhones a lot whiter than the original iPhone X. He compared last year's handset with this year's in a side-by-side look.

Just like every year, Apple next-gen iPhones have been rumored around for weeks despite the fact that the company has not revealed anything yet. Who knows? Maybe this time things will be different.

Then we come to the second AMOLED iPhone, which is predicted to have a 6.46-inch display and dual-SIM capabilities like its LCD counterpart.

The report also suggests that the two premium devices could support Apple Pencil, a stylus that can now be used with the iPad Pro.

This latest report reaffirms that this 6.1-inch LCD model will have an iPhone X-like design with a front-facing TrueDepth camera.

Unlike a year ago, the three new iPhones will all have the same design. This one will be the most expensive iPhone of the bunch, hitting the iPhone X's original launch price of $999. In a note to clients, Trendforce dropped two big nuggets about the upcoming new iPhones, both aimed at competing with Samsung's Galaxy Note 9.

IPad explodes at Apple’s store, three treated for respiratory problems
Following the criticism, Apple said it would offer a discounted battery replacement service until the end of 2018. We expect the Apple marketing team conducted an exorcism and chanted a few slogans to restore the atmosphere.

Depending on how Apple prices the phones this could all be for nought, of course, with the company not seeing the best sales of the iPhone X due to many consumers refusing to pay in excess of $1000 for a smartphone regardless of what bells and whistles it has onboard.

It has been two years since Apple introduced the predecessor to the iPhone SE 2.

Pencil support might not be as revolutionary of a feature as the Face ID or Animoji on the iPhone X, but it could go a long way toward turning the new iPhones into true productivity machines. Considering the cost reduction of components, TrendForce estimates the starting price of this LCD version at around $699~749.

With the OLED iPhones, Apple wants to pack more features in for the higher price. The larger iPhone is targeted at the premium business market with dual-SIM functionality which may only be available in certain regions and up to 512GB of storage. The iPhone 9 is with 6.1-inch display along with a single rear camera at the back.

TrendForce's report contains a few other tidbits about Apple's 2018 iPhone refresh, many of these confirming what we've heard in previous reports.
