Aerosmith will celebrate 50th anniversary with a Las Vegas residency

The legendary rockers performed "Sweet Emotion" and "Love in an Elevator", and announced a Las Vegas residency for 2019.

"We're taking Sin City by storm with our Deuces Are Wild Las Vegas Residency, opening April of 2019 at Park Theater at Park MGM!"

The residency, promoted by Live Nation and MGM Resorts International, features "never-seen-before visuals and audio from Aerosmith recording sessions" via producer Giles Martin, who crafted the sound for the Beatles' "Love" Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas. The stint is being called Aerosmith: Deuces Are Wild with 18 dates on the books.

Plans for the residency were shared on NBC's "Today" show Wednesday morning, where Perry spoke about the unique aspects of the planned performances.

Most other specimens have been discovered in the Alps. "We're getting insights into the beginning of pterosaurs", Britt said. The bones were discovered in a desert in Utah, which would have been an oasis when this creature would have been alive.

The band managed to stay tight-lipped about what fans could expect from the forthcoming shows, but drummer Joey Kramer told The Today Show, 'We bring you into Aerosmith World. "As soon as you walk into the Park Theater in Vegas, you're gonna feel it".

In total, the band is set to play 18 shows over the two months period, with half of the performances happening in the first month.

Members of Aerosmith's Aero Force One fan club will get access to an exclusive pre-sale at 9am PT tomorrow (August 16) while tickets will go on general sale from 10am PT on Friday, August 24.
