Harrington has just carded one bogey in 54 holes

Italy's Andrea Pavan won his first European Tour title in the D+D Real Czech Masters after coming out on top in a final-round duel with three-time major victor Padraig Harrington.

Another birdie on the par-3 13th briefly restored Harrington's lead, but a bogey on the 15th combined with Pavan's birdie on the 16th meant the Dubliner dropped one shot behind with two holes to play.

Harrington looked likely to land his first win in nearly two years when he opened up a three-shot lead at the turn, but the impressive Pavan made five birdies coming home to return a 67 and claim a two-stroke victory on 22 under par, a new tournament record. "I've won four times on the Challenge Tour but it was a long time ago".

"I'm not in the running for Ryder Cup at all", Harrington said after his round yesterday. Coming down the back nine trailing Padraig since the beginning, he was playing really well and not making any mistakes and I just knew I needed to stay aggressive and it was fantastic to finish this way. I'll enjoy this one because it's really hard to get and I'll just keep working on the stuff that seems to be working and enjoy the success.

Rodrigo Alves removed from the Big Brother house
Producers issued him a "final warning", stating that if he repeated the language he would be evicted from the house. The secret chat with Big Brother wasn't aired so fans were left in the dark as to why Rodrigo was made to leave.

Although he missed out his first tournament win since the Portugal Masters in 2016, there were many positives to take.

The 29-year-old Italian birdied the 16th and 17th as he ended on 22 under after a five-under-par 67.

Gavin Green of Malaysia shot 69 for his second top-three finish, three shots behind Harrington while Lee Slattery (68) of England and Scott Jamieson (70) of Scotland were tied for fourth another two strokes back.
