Tibbetts, 20, vanished on July 18.

Mollie Tibbetts' relatives and friends have been posting fliers seeking information on her whereabouts. The neighbor lives only a block away from the home where Tibbetts was dog sitting alone, according to Fox, which alleged the SUV "went very slowly around the neighborhood".

In a different interview with Fox, he said he had "no idea" who she was and suspected "some guy has her". At a news conference, Winker said investigators are confident in their timeline of the night Tibbetts went missing from her small hometown of Brooklyn, Iowa, on July 18.

Authorities said Sunday, Aug. 5, a young woman's body was discovered in rural Lee County in the southwest part of the state - but said that person is not believed to be Mollie Tibbetts, the missing University of Iowa student.

Farmer Wayne Cheney was questioned by Federal Bureau of Investigation agents, who asked to search his property.

Cheney has told Fox News he was not involved in the 20-year-old's disappearance.

It's the second time the Federal Bureau of Investigation has visited the farm searching for clues regarding Tibbett's disappearance.

Part of terminal at Frankfurt airport in Germany evacuated
At least 29 flights out of about 1,500 daily departures were cancelled, according to airport operator Fraport AG. That triggered an alarm which caused the cancellation of 300 flights and affected more than 30,000 passengers.

He said he had never seen Tibbetts before, because he didn't venture into the Brooklyn area, which is several miles from his home.

He told the media organisation the Federal Bureau of Investigation had has searched his home, some of his property and his mobile phone. He claimed that law enforcement asked him on Thursday to take a polygraph test but he refused to do so.

Asked whether they're investigating Tibbitts' disappearance as an abduction, Winker said they are treating it as a missing person case.

"We believe that Mollie is still alive, and if someone has abducted her, we are pleading with you to please release her", said Tibbetts's mother, Laura Calderwood, on August 9, during a press conference that announced the raising of the reward to $172,000.

Tips can also be submitted via Crime Stoppers of Central Iowa which has collected $172,000 so far in donations that will be available as a reward for information leading to Mollie's safe return.
