When do the Overwatch Summer Games 2018 begin? But first, watch a teaser for the event.

Summer 2018 has been a huge year for sports, with the Football World Cup taking the world by storm, but it appears Blizzard has chosen to ignore this with the Summer Games 2018.

With regards to the skins, there are six new Legendary skins including Cabana Ana, Fastball Zenyatta, Gridironhardt Reinhardt, Lacross Roadhog, Waveracer D.Va, and Catcher Winston.

At present, we know there'll be at least five new Legendary skins for this year's event, all consistent with the holiday or sportswear that we've seen other heroes donning in previous Summer Games over the last two years. In subsequent years, the Summer Games has taken on a more general theme of summer and sport, with this year's selection of new skins looking to offer something of both once again.

Blizzard, ever true to its tight-lipped form, hasn't revealed all of the skins, emotes, highlight intros, sprays, or victory poses that'll be available to buy or unlock (via Summer Games themed loot boxes) during the event, but it has been teasing a couple of the new hero outfits on social media.

Today, fans got a glimpse of the new Roadhog Lacrosse skin, which is a full armour set, complete with helmet and a ripped Lacrosse net for his hook.

American club professional golfer Tommy Fleetwood paid $154,000 prize money in error
Fleetwood finished with a share of 12th place at Carnoustie, and officials confirmed there had been a "clerical error". Fleetwood, who begins his PGA Championship bid at Bellerive on Thursday , said: "It looks pretty genuine".

Longtime Overwatch fans are likely excited to get their hands on new legendary skins, but it's worth pointing out that skins from previous Summer Games events will be available as well.

It is free to update, but the skins will cost you. Players can choose from an assortment of playable characters, each with different abilities, looks, and personalities, which is where the fun of the skins comes in.

What else is happening in the Overwatch Summer Games 2018?

Anyone who wants to get any of the past Summer Games skins or the current ones will want to act fast.
