Elon Musk revives 'pedo' controversy in Twitter spat

The spat between the two was ignited after Berlin-based motivational speaker Tijen Onaran tweeted an opinion piece about Musk crying in an interview with The New York Times.

Musk later apologised for the tweets, but yesterday seemed to backtrack by tweeting: "You don't think it's odd he hasn't sued me?"

Never one to turn his back on a potential Twitter fight, Musk fired back, making a thinking-face-emoji insinuation about why Unsworth never sued him, despite being offered free legal services.

The 47-year-old's hostility towards Unsworth stems from the diver's comments he made about the billionaire's submarine, which he said "had absolutely no chance of working" in the rescue.

"He had no conception of what the cave passage was like".

Tempers have flared between the two groups over claims United Kingdom vessels are "pillaging" the shellfish from worldwide waters. The statement continued: "French fishermen resorting to intimidation and violence is hypocrisy in the extreme".

Diver Vernon Unsworth played a pivotal role in the high-profile July rescue of 12 Thai boys and their soccer coach following flooding in the Tham Luang Nang Non cave. "The submarine, I believe, was about 5ft 6in long, rigid, so it wouldn't have gone round corners of any obstacles".

Elon Musk seems to be spiraling at a frightening pace.

He was responding to a tweet by Olanoff, who told Musk that his "dedication to facts and truth would have been wonderful" if he had applied it to when he "called someone a pedo".

Suffice to say, that didn't sit well with Musk, who replied, "For the record, my voice cracked once during the NY Times article".

"And hey. sue you, he still might. or anyone else that you've whack-a-moled without thinking twice about", the user tweeted. Unsworth had said he was considering taking legal action against Musk.
