He was nominated for an Oscar for the latter, as well as for the films of California Suite, The Sunshine Boys, and The Odd Couple. Jack Klugman and Tony Randall appeared in the TV series. The show was rebooted in 2015 on CBS starring Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon.
