Thomas Zurbuchen, from NASA's Science Mission Directorate, said: "By studying our star, we can learn not only more about the Sun". Temperatures in the corona are up to 500,000 degrees celsius and, for an unknown reason, far exceeds the heat of the sun's core.

The factory fire engulfed thousands of stacked plastic pallets and spread to a small site building and a number of fork-lift trucks.

England isn't the only place spotting the fire whirls as of late: They have also reportedly been spotted among the wildfires in California recently.

East Midlands Ambulance Service attended but no injuries were reported.
