The Philippines is now in the midst of Monsoon season, bringing heavy rains and flooding to Manila and its many neighboring areas including Bulacan, where Delos Angeles lives, according to Channel News Asia.

The Philippines experience an average of 20 storms each year.

A monsoon has hit the Philippines bringing with it heavy rains and forceful winds enhanced by nearby tropical storm 'Yagi'. You only get married once, will you postpone it?

The latest storm brought misery to many, with 20,000 residents fleeing the riverside district of Marikina in the national capital region where floods swept away cars, authorities said.

Delos Angeles also told AFP that she had to take a boat to the church due to the intense flooding.

Footage shows the bride and her parents wade down the flooded aisle through murky water up to the groom who was waiting by the altar barefoot.

The wedding, which was also a double ceremony for the baptism of their 5-year-old daughter, was attended by barefooted guests as seen in the photographs shared online by Bautista.

Rooney not ‘on holiday’ in MLS
A midfield lay off by Rooney put Luciano Acosta free for a run to the box, where he fed Fisher on the right channel. His exploits on Sunday went some way toward keeping DC United's slim MLS Cup playoff hopes alive.

"We didn't want a new schedule as we were already stressed out".

The flooded church wasn't the first obstacle for the young lovebirds, rather than taking a auto to the church, they had to arrive by boat as no vehicles would drive them. "Our hometown is really flood-prone", Mrs Delos Angeles added. "We didn't expect so many people would still turn up, even the entourage".

"I felt bad for them but at the same time I am happy they got it through", Bautista said.

Jobel said she had no regrets and was was delighted to have had "God's blessing" on her seven-year relationship.
