Google Updates Wear OS With New Design, Improved Notifications, More

Google is prepping a major Wear OS redesign that focuses on three key aspects - proving quicker access to notifications and information, offering proactive help from the Google Assistant and supplying smarter health coaching.

Wear OS' new notification stream is created to make it easier to browse, take action or dismiss notifications. And future users will be able to tap on a notification to get built-in smart replies. The Health app can be accessed by simply swiping from the right. Let's say you're headed to the airport-swipe right on your watch to see your flight status or hotel reservation. Apparently this tool will get even more useful over time as Google Assistant gets to know you better and new features are added.
