For Robin Wright, longtime star of Netflix's House of Cards remake, the show's sixth and final season is #MyTurn.

The series actually set up kind of a ideal exit for Spacey at the end of Season 5, as Frank Underwood resigned as President, making way for Wright's Claire to assume the role as Commander in Chief.

The long saga began after multiple allegations of sexual assault and harassment against Spacey came out, with incidents allegedly even taking place on the House of Cards set.

Spacey didn't deny Rapp's allegations, but instead came out as gay in a statement responding to the accusation.

More information on the series from Netflix can be found here. The streaming platform also announced at the time its decision to not move forward with Gore, a film starring and produced by Kevin Spacey that was already in post-production.

Everton set to announce Bernard signing
But Everton face a fight with French club Lyon to sign Barcelona's Colombian global centre-back Yerry Mina. Bernard is said to be favouring a move to Milan, with more meetings scheduled today.

The final season will consist of just eight episodes and will see Claire Underwood take on the role of POTUS, as was somewhat fortuitously how things were left at the end of the fifth season, which saw Claire turn to the camera and address the audience, saying "My turn".

In the months since the allegations broke, Wright has spoken out about the upcoming season and the affect Spacey's firing had on the cast and crew. Before they were the streaming giant we know them as today, Netflix was just beginning to enter into the production game. "We were co-workers, really".

While it has not yet been explicitly revealed how Spacey's character will be written off of the show, with some suggesting that he will die, production on the final season officially wrapped on Friday, April 27.

Netflix announced Tuesday that the sixth season of its political thriller will be released on November 2.
