It packs mid-range specifications but comes with an unorthodox dual-tone liquid finish design. The battery is rated at 3600 mAh, with up to 10W charging, and will be offered in two colors: Moonlight Blue and Twilight Purple. On the front, it sports a 6-inch IPS display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.

The U12 Life will cost 299 pounds in the United Kingdom, less than half the price of the U12 Plus.

Android Oreo will run on the device alongside a Snapdragon 636 processor, although HTC has already confirmed that its most recent U12 and U11 handsets will eventually get the new Android Pie update at some point. The handset comes in two RAM and storage configurations - 4GB / 6GB and 64GB / 128GB. With the MicroSD card slot, the users can also further expand the storage on this device.
