Jaybird's always been one of the leading names when it comes to fitness headphones/earbuds, and following up on the X3s that were released in 2016, we've now got an announcement for the Jaybird X4 out of IFA 2018.

Designed for outdoor athletes, these headphones have been upgraded to now be water-resistant, rather than just sweat-proof, although there's no recommendation to take these things swimming, despite being able to submerge them for up to a meter for half an hour.

Jaybird has also improved the design with a more comfortable fit, with new silicon fins and ultra-soft silicon tips in several different sizes to fit nearly everyone. The unique ear tips are joined by the maker's new Speed Cinch feature, which is a cord management system that enables the user to adjust the cable's length; with this, Jaybird says users can wrap them over the ear or wear them under the ear.

PlayStation Plus September 2018 Lineup Includes Destiny 2
A ton of new stuff in on the way for Destiny 2 players, thanks to the arrival of the Forsaken expansion next week. Here's a friendly reminder that players don't have to download the free games to redeem them.

The Jaybird X4 also include an omnidirectional mic built-in to the lightweight controller allowing for simplified controls.

The Jaybird X4 earbuds will be available globally in September for $129.99 Dollars - buyers can preorder now, however. Battery life hasn't changed and still promises up to eight hours, and you can still customize the sound using Jaybird's iOS or Android app. They come in three colors, Black Metallic - Flash, Storm Metallic - Glacier, and Alpha Metallic - Jade. Finally, "new exclusive-to-Jaybird Comply Ultra foam tips" use thermo-reactive foam tips to snuggle deeply in the ear canal.
