Kanye West apologizes for slavery comments answers Kimmel’s Trump question in new interview

"So it's something he's gonna work towards, but we're gonna have to speak to him".

On May 1, West appeared on TMZ Live, where he stated, "When you hear about slavery for 400 years". Kanye said his comments had been misinterpreted, as he was actually speaking from the perspective of "his spirit". For 400 years? That sounds like a choice... I'm not a historian, I'm Kanye West. "In my non-historical opinion, I feel these are examples from the past from people who felt similar to that".

"The thing about being called insane, the biggest stigma that has to be broken is that you instantly get written off". I just enjoy music, you know what I'm saying?

He also dropped in a remark about how he was sorry for how the slavery comment "made people feel", rather than just owning it and being sorry for making the comment in the first place... but we digress.

"And it's not something for me to overly intellectualise".

Portable Tesla Wireless Charger surfaces online and it\'s not cheap
If you're more in the market for a portable charger, Nimble offers four different flavors in 10K, 13K, 20K and 26K mAh capacities. Available in both black and white, all devices that are Qi certified will be able to work with the Tesla Wireless Charger.

One TMZ staffer, Van Lathan, challenged West's statements at the time, telling him, "Frankly, I'm disappointed, I'm appalled, and brother, I am unbelievably hurt by the fact that you have morphed into something to me, that's not real". "I honestly don't care that much, in all honesty".

As you can see in the short clip from the show's webcast (below), Yeezy was certainly emotional in his apology about not only the comment, but the "one-two" he calls the controversy and his MAGA hat coming up right in succession. "I'm not blaming mental health, but I'm explaining mental health".

"If you deal with someone that's bipolar, that's ramped up". But you might be the only one who knows what they're talking about.

On the program, West said the incident "showed me how much black people love me and how much black people count on me and depend on me and I appreciate that".

Around the time Drake and Pusha started going after each other in diss tracks and on social media earlier this summer, a rumor started circulating that West was the source behind Pusha's revelation that Drake had fathered a child with former porn star Sophie Brussaux.
