Modric Kovacic will be"very happy at Real Madrid says boss

Athletic Bilbao confirmed today that Chelsea have met goalkeeper's Kepa Arrizabalaga release clause ahead of the reportedly imminent transfer.

Kepa's arrival at Stamford Bridge came shortly after Chelsea had agreed to sell Belgian global 'keeper Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid for a reported fee of €35 million.

With just a year remaining on his contract, the 26-year-old had been absent from training this week as he looked to push through a move before the transfer window ended for Chelsea on Thursday.

Personal terms will now be discussed and if true, Kepa will be in London tomorrow for a medical and so on.

Real Madrid on the other hand have until the end of the month to do their business.

"Subsequently, Courtois will go out on the pitch at the Santiago Bernabéu for the first time wearing the Real Madrid C.F. jersey and will speak to the media in the press room".

Some Wall Street analysts are skeptical of Musk's ability to gather the financial backing to complete such a deal. Tesla's other board members are Musk, his brother Kimbal Musk and venture capitalist Steve Jurvetson.

Kepa flew from Bilbao to Madrid on Tuesday for talks with his representatives, and on Wednesday the money was officially deposited at La Liga's offices to terminate his contract with Athletic and pave the way for him to join Chelsea.

"It's an accumulation of things, and I am very glad Chelsea has made a decision to trust me and to take me in as well".

"Athletic thank the player for his contribution throughout the time he has been at the club".

Courtois spent a total of three years on loan at Atleti, during which he laid roots in Madrid, and his young family still live there. In his 154 appearances under Mourinho, Hiddink and Conte, the new Madrid signing also managed to win an FA Cup and EFL Cup title.

It means that Courtois is now free to travel directly from his Belgium home to the Bernabeu for his medical, ending the saga that started in the middle of the World Cup finals in June.
