- A man is claiming to be the lover of Chris Watts, a Fayetteville native who is charged in the deaths of his wife and two young daughters. "He could've been telling me what I wanted to hear".

Watts will be laid to rest along with her two daughters and unborn son in the state she grew up in.

Banfield spoke to the man, who claimed he met Watts on an app called MeetMe.

It comes amid intense media speculation in the USA that Christopher Watts, 33, was having an extra-marital affair with a "co-worker" - presumed to be female.

"He reached out to me and messaged me", the man alleged. 'It was small talk. Shanann was 15 weeks pregnant with the couple's third child at the time of her disappearance.

During the interview, Chris Watts tearfully told the camera that he hopes they return home.

"Bella made a comment and asked him if she could sleep with him and mommy tonight and that's when I found out", he said. "He said he was not out and not ready to be out as far as sexuality", the man explained, noting that he had "many conversations" with Chris, and had even met Chris' two children.

Watts worked as an operator at Colorado oil and gas explorers Andarko Petroleum.

The US Open Final: Who Will Make it?
The 34-year-old Swiss won the first two sets 6-4 and 7-5, forcing an injured and struggling Djokovic to retire in the third. If she’s at her best, then she’ll make it to the final and if she performs on the day the title will be hers.

Watts' next court appearance is scheduled for November 19.

The source said he thought the relationship was considered mostly casual, but indicated that Watts "opened up" to him about being unhappy with his life, though Watts reportedly never mentioned he was married in the beginning. Her obituary says she was born in New Jersey.

"That's how I found out he was married", the man admitted. She asked him... I'm sorry I'm so nervous.

He added: "I knew something was wrong at home because obviously if nothing was wrong, he wouldn't have pursued me". "I mean, those smiles light up my life", Watts told ABC Denver.

A man claiming to be Christopher Watts' gay lover claimed that he and his wife Shannan were having marital troubles. He stated he felt Watts killed his wife and his children, despite Watts claiming he only killed his wife after she strangled their children. He said that once he learned about Watts' marriage, Watts told him that he and his wife Sha'nann no longer loved each other. "How she loved and cherished her".

"He didn't know but as of that moment, he was attracted to me and only me as a male."

Pointing out that Chris has in fact not been convicted of the crimes, the man suggests the accused could have been very good at making people believe his narrative. He's facing numerous charges including first-degree murder, murder of a child under 12 (two counts), unlawful termination of a pregnancy (one count), and tampering with a deceased human body (three counts).
