Patriots rework Rob Gronkowski's contract

Jalen Ramsey calls Dolphins WR Danny Amendola'terrible in an ESPN article

NFL Network's James Palmer previously reported in May that the team was working on restructuring the tight end's deal, but so far it has been quiet, at least publicly.

Rob Gronkowski isn't the only Patriots tight end getting his contract reworked Thursday.

To make the money, Gronk will have hit multiple incentives this year.

Star Wars Resistance's new trailer introduces Team Fireball
Expect more to come as Star Wars: Resistance heads toward its October 7 debut on the Disney Channel and DisneyNow. He has seen better days, clearly, but he still has an important role to play in the coming fight.

The targets are all a touch higher than Gronkowski's numbers last season, in which he logged 69 receptions, 79.3 percent playing time, eight touchdown receptions, and 1,084 receiving yards. He reached the top tiers of that contract and earned $10.75 million.

The new contract included $1 million in per game bonuses and $3.3 million in incentives for 2018. Granted that Gronkowski is always going to end up eating a big chunk of the tight end role in the passing game in New England, Allen should've played a lot better than he did last season. After a different offseason workout regimine, he believes this year will be different. By the time training camp rolled around, Gronk's contract went from a hot topic to a scolding inferno. "That's not really my focus", Gronk said. "I've got a long season ahead, and (I'm) just trying to focus on what I need to really do, and just let everything else play out".

A few weeks after Jalen Ramsey made headlines for trash talking quarterbacks around the NFL in a GQ interview, the Jaguars cornerback continued sharing his opinions of other players around the league in a new interview with ESPN.
