He flew to Philadelphia on Tuesday night for the procedure. According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Penny flew to Philadelphia last night and is having surgery to fix the finger injury that includes a broken bone first thing Wednesday morning. The Seahawks' first game is September 9, when they go on the road to play the Broncos.
