Everton forward Richarlison has been rewarded for his good start to the season by winning his first call-up to the Brazil squad.

Richarlison moved from Watford in July in a five-year deal reportedly worth more than $50 million.

Everton loanee Kurt Zouma is confident that teammate Richarlison will bounce back from his recent red card in the Premier League draw at Bournemouth.

Richarlison will go into the worldwide break fresh having been sent off in Everton's 2-2 draw with Bournemouth at the weekend, missing their Premier League games against Huddersfield Town and West Ham United, as well as their Carabao Cup tie with Rotherham, as a result.

Last week, an Ebola case was confirmed in Oicha health zone which is hard to access due to conflict. Aid workers, priests and government officials are held hostage in the area, he said.

He replaces the injured Pedro, of Richarlison's former club Fluminense, for the upcoming friendlies.

A statement from the Brazilian Football Confederation said: "The Brazil coaching staff has called up Everton attacker Richarlison".

Manchester United's Andreas Pereira, Barcelona's Arthur, and Flamengo's Lucas Paquetá all received their first call-ups as well. "The Fluminense player suffered an injury in his right knee playing against Cruzeiro in the Brazilian Championship, on Saturday".

The games are part of Brazil's preparation for Copa America, which it will host in 2019.
