Schalke in talks with Tottenham over Danny Rose loan signing

Tottenham left-back Danny Rose could be in line to make a shock loan move to Bundesliga side Schalke 04, according to a report.

Rose is out of favour at White Hart Lane and Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is ready to offload him.

Despite returning to full fitness, Rose only managed 10 appearances for Spurs last season and even fell down the pecking order in the England set up behind Ashley Young, where he played a handful of times at the World Cup in Russian Federation.

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie spar over child support, house loan
The Hollywood power couple had been together for 12 years and married for two when she filed for divorce in 2016. Pitt's court filing said it was the actor, not Jolie, who first made the request to speed up the divorce.

The England global is being offered the chance to resurrect his career at the second placed Bundesliga side from last season, with the Germany club aiming to compete with any English club who come in for the full-back ahead of the transfer deadline on Thursday.

He has spoken candidly, too, about his personal battle with depression and the effect that his injury struggles have had on his mental health.

Schalke will be hoping to tie up the deal as soon as possible, as the English Premier League transfer window shuts on Thursday. They will, though, be able to sell or loans players to European leagues whose windows are still open until the end of the month, including Germany.
